Cyanotypes

Prints created from Cyanotypes

Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that uses sun light (UV light) to create dark greenish-blue images.

On the face of it, it is a relatively simple process but I wanted to add my own spin to it so I did some mark making with it to add some texture. I wanted to get a skeleton for the leaves, which I made by soaking them in clear water for 30 days. This helped remove most of the chlorophyll in the leaves, leaving me with the skeleton.
