Samples dyed using acid, reactive and disperse dyes. Using a variety of techniques such as painting on the screen, potato dextrin, directly painting on the fabric, mirroring the pattern through folding the fabric, tie dye. 

The theme for this project was back to square 1. I went back to how a 5 year old child would think, do things and completely let lose. I very freely used my brush and did whatever came to my mind in that moment. Through this project I realised that sometimes having no plan, might just end up being the best plan. The only thing planned in this project was the colour scheme, I chose colours that are super vibrant and were my personal favourite colours back when I was a child. Like many other kids I was obsessed with Pink!
